Who Are We?
Partners In Health Engage BiCo (Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges) is part of a network of teams around the U.S. joining forces to advance the movement for universal health care. We believe that all individuals, no matter where they live, have a fundamental economic, social, and cultural right to a universal standard of health. By working in collaboration with Partners In Health, a global health and social justice nonprofit that provides care in some of the world’s most impoverished places, we aim to bring attention to the global disparity in access to health care and push for global change.
We call our Congressional representatives, educate our peers, share resources, and raise funds, all in support of the right to health movement. We believe that together, we can build a more just and equitable world, where everyone has access to the care they need.
Join us and help build the movement!
What Does Our Chapter Do?
As a chapter, we aim to expand beyond our college community. We want to ...
Advocate for greater health equity to local and national leaders
Fundraise to support PIH's goal of providing high-quality healthcare across the world
Build community around PIH's values of solidarity and justice
Now is Your Chance to Make a Change!
For Haverford and Bryn Mawr students who want to get involved, sign up for our mailing list to get reminders about our general meetings and workshops. While we are a college organization, we welcome all community members to join us in fighting for equitable healthcare. We host a variety of community-wide events, which you can keep up to date with on our events page!
And for anyone in our BiCo community (and beyond!) who wants to keep up to date on our work here at PIH Engage BiCo, we've got you -- sign up for our monthly newsletter! We'll include op-eds by our PIH members, keep you up to date on the state of global health, and share information on our community events.
