Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee works to advance policy change and raise awareness around global health equity issues that align with PIH's mission. Committee members engage in legislative advocacy, participate in policy campaigns, organize letter-writing efforts to elected officials, and help mobilize the PIH community around key health justice initiatives.

Advocacy Highlights 2025-2026

11/16/25 -- Co-led our first ever Advocacy Writing Workshop with Haverford's Writing Center and Haverford's school newspaper The Clerk, guiding students through writing their own Letters to the Editor.

09/09/25 -- Sent a record 28 emails to our members of Congress in one day, requesting to speak about the pocket rescissions.

08/11/25 -- Our Bi-Co PIH Engage Executive Board traveled to Washington DC to advocate for global health on the Hill!
